Rabbits, birds, reptiles, and small mammals each have unique physiology, common conditions, and husbandry needs. We treat them accordingly — not as dogs and cats in smaller bodies.

Rabbit Veterinary Care

Rabbits are prey animals that hide illness well — by the time symptoms appear, problems are often advanced. We check teeth, gut sounds, weight, and body condition at every visit. We treat GI stasis, dental malocclusion, and uterine conditions, and we strongly recommend spaying females — it removes the risk of uterine cancer entirely.

Bird Veterinary Care

Birds mask illness until they can no longer compensate — a sick bird that looks "a little off" may be critically ill. We see parrots, cockatiels, conures, finches, canaries, and chickens for wellness exams, feather and skin conditions, beak trims, and sick visits. Annual exams are especially important for pet birds.

Reptile & Lizard Care

Small Mammal Care

Guinea pigs, hamsters, chinchillas, rats, and ferrets each have distinct health profiles. Guinea pigs need vitamin C and are prone to dental and urinary problems. Hamsters can develop wet tail and diabetes. Chinchillas are sensitive to heat and stress. We tailor exams and treatment to the species — not a generic "small animal" approach.

Your senior pet deserves more than an annual checkup

Senior pets age faster than people realize. A dog over 7, a cat over 10, or a rabbit over 5 can develop kidney disease, hyperthyroidism, dental disease, or joint conditions that are highly manageable — but only if caught early.
